The shape is characteristic for Panton. who strove to create a lamp. whose light was reflected in the base as well as in the shade. In white opal acrylic. the fixture emanates a pleasant diffused light. The Panthella Floor continues to be one of Verner Panton's most cherished lamps together with the Panthella Table.

The fixture emits a glare-free. soft and comfortable illumination. The opal acrylic shade leaves a diffused comfortable light atmosphere due to the translucent shade. the downward reflection from the inner shade and the reflection from the trumpet stem.
