Basus is an independent lighting retailer, founded in 2018 by Daniel Fraser, a Glasgow-born design enthusiast who wanted to make beautifully crafted lighting more accessible.

From the start, Daniel’s vision was clear: to create a place where design lovers could discover authentic, high-quality lamps and ex-display pieces from some of the world’s most renowned design houses — without the luxury price tag. What began as a small idea in Glasgow has grown into a trusted name, built on passion, care, and a love for great design.
